On 12 November Dr Edward Mc Parland launched the publication TOLLYMORE PARK – The Gothick Revival of Thomas Wright & Lord Limerick and paid tribute to its author, Peter Rankin, on a scholarly and meticulously researched book.
The event on 12 November was a double celebration as the Follies Trust was marking the conservation of Lord Limerick’s follies – a project carried out in memory of founder trustee, Dick Oram. A large audience of fmaily, friends and colleagues were present to hear Dr McParland pay tribute to Dick’s amazing qualities.
Online Guide
The Follies Trust now has an online guide to the follies and garden buildings of Tollymore Park. The guide is an introduction to the follies and complements the Trust’s publication Tollymore Park The Gothick Revival of Thomas Wright & Lord Limerick.
